Time flies and as soon as you know it the day will come that you are entering labor and you’ll be heading to the hospital. The question is are you ready for the big day? Ideally, you should have your hospital bag packed and ready around the 8th month of your pregnancy. With our maternity hospital bag checklist, you can be sure to be prepared and comfortable during and after labor. Plus, we have thought about your baby and your partner, too!

Maternity Hospital Bag for Labor and Delivery 

  • Hospital paperwork
  • ID
  • Insurance card
  • Birth plan
  • Bathrobe
  • Delivery gown
  • Socks
  • Slippers or non-slip socks
  • Flip flops (for the shower)
  • Headbands and hair ties
  • Lip balm
  • Body lotion and massage oil
  • Personal cup with a bendable straw
